Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 22, 2026
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how QR Ready LLC ("QR Ready", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use QR Connect, including the qrconnect.me website, Connect Card pages, QR codes, and related features (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Our Terms of Service also apply to your use of the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Account information. Such as your name, email address, and phone number when you sign up or contact us.
- Card content. The information you add to your Connect Card, such as your name, title, business, contact details, website and social links, photos, logos, profile text, design choices, and custom link.
- Connections and lists. Notes you save about people you meet, and recommendation lists you create.
- Messages to us. Information you include when you email us or ask for support.
Information from visitors to a Connect Card
If a card owner turns on the lead form, visitors can send their name, phone number, email address, and notes to that card owner. We store this information so that the card owner can see it, download it, and manage it.
Payment information
Payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive limited information about your payments, such as your plan, payment status, and billing history. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Service, we and our service providers may collect usage information. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, and how you got to the Service. We collect some of this information with cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
2. How We Use Information
We may use the information we collect to:
- Provide, run, and maintain the Service, including showing your Connect Card.
- Create and manage your account, and sign you in.
- Deliver lead form submissions to the card owner.
- Process payments, subscriptions, and add-ons.
- Send you service emails, such as sign-in links, receipts, and account or billing notices.
- Respond to your questions and give support.
- Understand how the Service is used, and improve it.
- Protect the Service and our users, and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
- Follow the law and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Legal Bases
Where the law requires a legal basis to use personal information, we rely on one or more of these: to perform our contract with you; our legitimate interests in running, improving, and protecting the Service; your consent, where we ask for it; and to meet our legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as described below.
- Public card content. Your Connect Card is public by design. Anyone with the link or QR code can see the information you put on your card.
- Card owners. When a visitor sends the lead form on a Connect Card, we share that information with the owner of that card. The card owner decides how to use it, and is responsible for that use.
- Recommendation lists. If you publish a recommendation list, the content of that list is visible to people who view it.
- Service providers. We use trusted companies to help us run the Service, such as hosting, payment processing, email delivery, website statistics, and spam protection. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal reasons. We may share information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to follow the law or a legal request, to protect the rights, property, or safety of QR Ready, our users, or others, or to investigate fraud or misuse of the Service.
- Business transfers. If we are part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your permission. We may share information for other purposes when you tell us to.
Types of service providers we use
- Payment processing. A payment processor handles payments and subscriptions. It receives your payment details directly, under its own privacy policy.
- Spam protection. Our forms use a spam protection service to check that a person, not a bot, sends the form. The service shows its own privacy notice on the form.
- Website statistics. A website statistics provider counts page views and how many people finish signup. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
- Hosting and email. Providers host the Service and deliver our emails.
We may change our service providers from time to time.
5. Lead Forms: Information for Visitors
If you send your information through the lead form on someone's Connect Card, it goes to that card owner. We process it on behalf of the card owner so that they can receive it. The card owner's own privacy practices apply to how they use it. To ask a card owner to stop contacting you or to delete your information, contact that card owner directly. You can also contact us, and we will try to help.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We use cookies and similar technologies for these purposes:
- Essential. To sign you in, keep you signed in on a device you trust, keep your session secure, and make the Service work.
- Preferences. To remember your settings and choices.
We do not track you across other websites, and we do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no common standard for them.
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the Service, such as signing in, may not work. Our spam protection service may set its own cookies when you use a form.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide the Service, and as needed to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous within a reasonable time. Copies may stay in backups for a period of time.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information. For example, we use encrypted connections and secure, time-limited sign-in links. But no method of sending or storing data is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information. You are responsible for keeping your email account and devices secure.
9. Your Choices and Rights
- Card content. You can view and change most of your card content from your account pages at any time.
- Leads. Card owners can view, download, and delete lead information from their account pages.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, or delete it. Email us at help@qrready.com.
- Email. We send service emails that are needed to run your account, such as sign-in links and billing notices. You may not be able to opt out of these while you have an account.
Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local law. We will respond to requests as the law requires. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request. We may keep some information when the law requires or allows it, for example for billing records or to prevent fraud.
10. International Users
We are based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. Our service providers may also process information in other countries. Data protection laws in these places may be different from the laws where you live. By using the Service, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11. Children
The Service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you think that a person under 18 gave us personal information, please contact us, and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. Links to Other Sites
The Service may link to websites and services that we do not control, including links that card owners add to their cards. This Privacy Policy does not apply to them. Please read their privacy policies.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the "Last updated" date. We may also tell you about important changes in other ways, such as by email or a notice in the Service. If you continue to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated policy.
14. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to make a request, please contact us:
